I’m so excited – the Christmas tree is up, the cards are written, shopping is done and I’m all set. Woohooo!!
It feels good to have a permanent home again and to have the time to do all things ‘Christmassy’ – things that always seemed stressful in my former/corporate life. I even took my nephew Logan to see Santa on the weekend and we had so much fun.
So here we are in the finishing stretch of 2021 and what another challenging year it has been. Whilst we have certainly had a bit more freedom than last year, rules & regulations primarily around travel and testing, constantly remind us that we are not out of the woods quite yet.
But I remain optimistic that we will finally turn the corner in 2022.
Now I know that you will all be writing your letter to Santa in the coming weeks 🤣 so I wanted to remind you (if you haven’t done so already) to ask him to bring back your SPARKLE.
NO – I don’t mean glittery tops and cinderella shoes (of course you can have those too) but what I’m really talking about here is that feeling, that energy, that sense of joy… when you have a spring in your step, a sparkle in your eye and can’t wait to welcome each new day.
You know the feeling I’m talking about, don’t you?
You may not live with it every day, but you have experienced it, I’m sure.
Maybe it’s when you were in the first weeks or months of a new romance. Or when you first spotted your dream home on-line and knew instantly it was ‘the one’. Perhaps it is the feeling you get when your child (or one you are especially close to), shares with you something really difficult that they have overcome. Or maybe you experienced it when you travelled somewhere new and were inspired by the breath-taking beauty of the landscape.
It’s a feeling.
Of pure joy.
Of gratitude & appreciation.
You just can’t beat it.
A feeling that converts to a way of being.
People will notice the change in your posture and your energy. They will see the sparkle in your eyes.
When The Diamond Life Project was born, my goal was to design a life in which I ‘sparkle’ every single day. Now let me be the first to admit, I don’t – not every day. But the more I commit to spending time doing the things I love and with the people I care most about, the more natural and frequent that feeling becomes. And that’s without travelling overseas at all this year.
And what about you? What is it that makes you sparkle?
When do you feel most alive?
When was the last time you experienced that feeling of true joy?
What is it that if you didn’t have to worry about what others would say, or how much you would earn, you would choose to devote your time to?
Is there a way to bring more of that into your life right now?
Maybe you can start thinking about it now so that you are ready to implement starting 01 Jan.
You won’t regret it, I promise you.
x Until next time, sending you love x
I would love to get to know you more, connect with me here.
