Happy New Year 🍾
Cheers 🍸 to you and farewell to what has been a difficult year for many, and Hello to the start of what I hope will be a truly wonderful year ahead. For all of us.
I hope that you were able to spend some time with your loved ones over the festive period.
Are you all set for 2021?

In a recent newsletter, I recommended that (rather than a list of goals), you may wish to consider setting an intention for 2021.
Now, I have another suggestion – to work hand-in-hand with your intention.
Choose one thing to leave behind in 2020.
♡ Maybe it’s a specific incident…. something that has really annoyed or troubled you. A decision that impacted you but wasn’t handled sensitively? Can you leave it behind and never speak of it again? Focus on the future.
♡ Maybe it’s a person … a failed relationship? Or a toxic friendship?
♡ Perhaps a limiting belief? Imagine how things could transform if you left behind the belief – “I’m not smart enough”, “I’m not good enough”, Or another “I’m too old” … What is the belief that has been holding YOU back?
Well now you can make a choice …. to leave it behind in 2020.
Don’t ever allow that thought or belief (or thoughts of that person) to see the light of day again.
Each time it pops up … just notice, say – there’s that thought 💭 but it’s sooooo last year. And let it go.
♡ A bad habit? Leave it behind and start afresh. Choose a new/supportive habit instead.
You won’t believe how powerful this is. Just choose one ‘thing’, one belief, behaviour, or habit and make the decision today to leave it behind.
YOU are responsible for the shape of your own life. And you can control your own destiny by the decisions you make each and every day.

It may help to think of life as a game. How much fun you have and what rewards you will reap along the way, is totally dependent on how you choose to play. Give it your best effort every step of the way and you will achieve your dreams and have fun in the process.
And stop with the excuses! One really important habit that will help to keep you on track in creating your best life is to relieve yourself of exuse-itis.
Excuses come in many different forms and phrases, but we all make them every day as a way to avoid certain things. Maybe there are things you want to do but don’t have the motivation to follow through on, or perhaps you make excuses because you are scared to take that next step.
Either way, they are the number one reason you are being held back from living the life you want. So, if you are making excuses about why you can’t have it all, stop now.
Change happens the INSTANT you decide. Really decide.
Decide now, and make it happen. Take responsibility.
It’s YOUR life. No more excuses!
Make 2021 your best year ever.
Happy New Year.
